case kauf2 StarStaff is not very helpful. The people at the counter need more experience and training in what they are selling. The grey haired lady here is very standoffish and a little rude. Century needs to hire people from the field and pay them well so that they can sell their products better and know their inventory, Business 101.Wednesday 10th July 2024
The original Matt Scott5 StarBest HVAC parts distributor, hands down. Top notch service and the most competitive prices around.Saturday 20th July 2024
3rd Coast Equipment1 StarCurrently Texas is experiencing an unprecedented freeze across the state, along with long power outages. I had a 24v transformer fail on my furnace and am unable to heat my home for my 3 small children and 83yr old grand mother.
This store how ever will not sell me the parts needed to repair my furnace because they only sell to contractors. Even if I wanted to hire a contractor to make the repairs, there is no way I can get one to come out with demand surging right now. I am sure the store will respond with some BS about why they can not sell to the public. Mean while I can order the parts needed off the internet with no problems. Unfortunately they will almost certainly be delayed, good news is another dealer down the street had no problem selling me what I needed.
So during an unprecedented winter storm this store left their community and neighbors to fend for themselves. The store had power and employees working when I arrived, I also had cash in hand in case the credit card system was down. Yet they turned me away to drive around Houston in an ice storm.
I can't wait for their lame a$$ reply explaining why they can't sell to the public. Their competitor down the street can open their business with no power and accept my cash and sell to the public. This is just another con to force people to hire repair services. Houston has one of the most highly skilled work forces in the country. Many of our citizens have the skills to make simple repairs. I can repair complex electrical systems in refineries but Century A/C Supply says I need a license to buy a 24v transformer.Wednesday 17th February 2021
