Two stars since they DID honor the warranty that came with my new house, but... 1. They didn't configure the emergency cut-off reservoir correctly. 2. My compressor unit had wires in contact after installation. 3. My TXV component had to be replaced because IES installed it incorrectly. (Humidity was high in my house) If the installation had been done properly, they wouldn't need to come to my home 5 times in one year.

Would rate lower if it was an option! I have been having issues with the same breaker tripping over and over ever since I moved into a new house 3 years ago. They have yet to find the problem and are now blaming the issue on me since they cannot find the real reason.

We have had Tom and Tino come out to our new build in River Ranch, to do warranty work and add two outlets. Tom was quick and efficient when addressing a crossed breaker box issue and again recently with another breaker issue with our fridge. Hopefully that’s the last time we need to submit warranty requests for a while. Also easily added an outlet in our pantry and laundry rooms without having to cut sheet rock. Communication with staff is always good and relatively quick.

We purchased Our home 07/28/17, IES is the Electrical Co. that was contracted by Beazer Homes to put the electrical in our home. All has been good since our closing. But on 08/23/19 the power went off in our loft area. I assumed it was the breaker, but found out that it wasn't, I noticed that other lights and plugs on the same circuit were working. I called IES, told them of my issue, and the receptionist, Monica Muller told me that she would call me back to see if they would look at the problem. She called back, and said that we were out of warranty, I said really, by 3 weeks, your not going to look into it, she said no, we are not, my supervisor said it is the way they do their billing, and they wouldn't come out unless I paid them for the call, and that they couldn't come out until later the following week. I couldn't wait for another week so I called another company to look at the issue. I called Mr. Sparky, they came out on Monday, tested all of the plugs on the circuit, and found out the wires connecting one of the plugs was crossed, hot on neg., neg on hot. They billed me $407.00 to fix the problem, I paid the bill, and called IES back to tell them it wasn't a breaker, but they had crossed the wires, I even sent them pictures, now they are saying someone else came in and did electrical work in that area, because the wire used was not the same gauge that was required by the code, plus because I added a light in that area, not even using that plug, I voided the warranty.. So basically they wont cover their faulty work, and the supervisor that I have been trying to contact, won't return my calls. I tried to explain to Monica, that there was no possible way that we could have changed the wires because of all of the foam insulation that was installed. If they would have just come out in the first place, this could have been resolved. I even told Monica, to send someone out to look at the wiring, but she or her supervisor wont send anyone, and now are not returning my emails or call. Don't use IES, they don't stand behind their work..

We are using IES Residential for a large renovation in Kemah. I have been working with Brody and Will, they have been on top of everything and have helped take care of the electrical on this project. If you are doing work in this area I would recommend doing business with them.
